The Material Girl's sold-out Wembley Stadium show in London Thursday
(September 11th) attracted more than 74,000 fans and grossed more than $12 000 000,
making it the highest grossing concert ever at the venue.
That record follows the 50-year-old singer's recent Zurich performance in front of 72,000 fans,
which was the largest audience ever for a concert in Switzerland.
Madge's North American leg kicks off October 4th in the New York area
with more than 66,000 tickets sold for fsive consecutive sold out concerts,
including one at New Jersey's Izod Center and four at Madison Square Garden.
Madonna's show features songs from her latest album, Hard Candy,
along with older hits, including 'Vogue" "Borderline," "La Isla Bonita" and "Like a Prayer."
